The Conductor of Light
Greenhouse curtains with a focus on light control and energy savings
Efficient control of light and temperature in modern nurseries
Do you need greenhouse curtains that can optimize light conditions, energy consumption and the production climate?
At Garditec ApS, we work with greenhouse curtains for commercial nurseries on Funen and across Denmark, including both Jutland and Zealand. Our greenhouse curtains are developed for professional greenhouse environments where stable temperatures, correct light control and energy-efficient operation are crucial to production.
Since 1988, Garditec ApS has worked with specially developed greenhouse curtains for commercial nurseries throughout Scandinavia. With many years of experience in greenhouse curtains, light control and energy-saving solutions, we help businesses create stable growing conditions and reduce energy consumption.
At the same time, we also work with solutions such as shading and fire curtains, which are often part of larger projects for industry and commercial buildings.
Our expertise
We help businesses with advice to find exactly the right solutions.
Through sparring, dialogue and collaboration, we always arrive at a solid solution.
How can greenhouse curtains improve your nursery?
How can greenhouse curtains make a difference in the day-to-day running of a modern nursery?
Greenhouse curtains play an important role in controlling light, temperature and energy consumption. By installing the right systems, you can gain better control of the greenhouse climate, creating optimal growing conditions for plants and crops.
Our curtains can be used for, among other things:
- regulating sunlight in the greenhouse
- reducing heat loss during cold periods
- providing shade during warm periods
- better control of growing conditions and temperature[JP1.1]
A professional greenhouse curtain therefore doesn’t just act as shading—it’s an integrated part of operations in a modern nursery. With the right curtains, you can create stable conditions all year round.
Greenhouse curtains developed for commercial use
At Garditec ApS, we develop and manufacture greenhouse curtains tailored to the needs of commercial nurseries. We work closely with the customer to find the solution that fits the greenhouse structure, production type and desired climate.
Our systems can be customized in size, pitch and function to suit everything from smaller greenhouses to large production facilities. The curtains can be installed manually or as a motor-driven solution, depending on needs and the size of the system.
As a manufacturer, we can also supply very long systems. In fact, we can produce roller blinds for greenhouses where a single motor can pull curtains up to 135 metres in length. This makes the solution efficient for large commercial nurseries.
In addition, the curtains can be combined with various types of accessories and technical solutions that optimize operation and control.
Custom-designed greenhouse solutions
When we work with greenhouse curtains, it’s not about standard solutions. Every greenhouse is different, so the solution is tailored to the specific production.
At Garditec ApS, we can help with, among other things:
- advice on choosing curtains
- design and development of greenhouse curtains
- production of curtain systems
- professional installation
- service and maintenance plan
We often work in close collaboration with the nursery throughout the entire process—from the initial dialogue about needs to installation and follow-up on the solution.
This approach ensures that greenhouse curtains become an active part of production and not just a technical element in the greenhouse.
What do greenhouse curtains cost?
Several elements affect the price of greenhouse curtains. This includes, among other things, the size of the greenhouse, the type of greenhouse curtains, the desired function, and any accessories and automation.
The price can also vary depending on whether it’s a new installation or an upgrade of existing systems. That’s why you get the most accurate price overview when we take a closer look at the specific project.
At Garditec ApS, we always base our quote for greenhouse curtains on the company’s needs and operations.
