Garditec – the conductor of light

Garditec ApS in Tommerup on Funen is known throughout Scandinavia for serving industry, construction and commercial nurseries with great ideas and robust solutions for solar shading, fire curtains and insulation curtains for nurseries. The company has its own sewing workshop, producing curtains both for its own projects and for customers, primarily abroad.​

In 1988, Garditec started as a specialist in greenhouse curtains, primarily serving Danish nurseries. Since then, the company has grown into a significant player for commercial nurseries in Denmark and the Nordic countries.​

Today, Garditec is not only specialised in greenhouse curtains.​

Solar shading and smoke and fire curtains are also business areas in which the company has built up specialised expertise.​

Today, Garditec is owned by Michael Mortensen, who took over the company in August 2023 from Henning Hofmann. Michael originally trained as an agricultural machinery mechanic, but started in a temporary job back in 1993 while he was waiting for a job as an agricultural machinery mechanic. Michael quickly felt at home at Garditec and was hired as an installer right away. Since then, Michael has been responsible for service and special tasks in the company.​

Over the years, Michael has built up extensive experience and an ability to find solutions even to tasks that may seem overwhelming. This very ability to find solutions is one of the reasons the company has expanded into other specialities, such as smoke and fire curtains for construction and industry.
